Hunting Knives Descriptions
Knives of Alaska Jaeger Black Suregrip
What is a Jaeger? For starters it's the German word for hunter, but the knife was actually named after the hawk-like bird named Jaeger that nests near the Alaska hunting and fishing lodge and is incredibly sleek and streamlined - just like our knife. This is possibly the most beautiful and sleekest knife we have ever made. Designed as a premier boning and caping knife, this is lightweight and easy to carry but incredibly versatile and strong, with a 0.118" thick blade. The non-slip ridges on the back of the blade will give you a comfortable platform on which to place either your forefinger or thumb. Also, the individule finger grooves and deep front choil provide a comfortable and positive grip. The sheath is made from 100% American split grain cowhide, vegetable tanned then oiled. It hangs at a 45 degree angle for added comfort.
Knives of Alaska Wood Saw
Sometimes nothing will take the place of a good compact saw in the outdoors. We have looked at wood and bone saws for yeARS and after much field testing, have designed two very efficient and stable full-tang saws for the outdoorsman.
