Love it so far
Fun design, actually is very capable. Slicey blade. Light and very well made. The g10 is very rough. Sanding save my pocket. Looking forward to personalizing it some.
Nice knife, upped to 5 stars
So, this didn’t blow me away, a little put off with lack of blade centering, initially thought “meh.”
Then I worked with it a bit.
Nice knife. Seen it listed for anywhere from $145-200. That is definitely too much.
I think it’s a $75 knife, but I’ll give a new company a shot, and $122 on Blade HQ doesn’t make me feel ripped off.
It’s got grippy Emerson…

like G-10, so it will shred your pocket, but I like that kind of G-10.
The Czech-wave works well, nice version of Ernies work.
One side of the handle is just G-10, so while it’s not as flimsy as a bugout, there’s clear flexion in the handle.
But I like that too. I like my bugout, keeps the weight down, and this is clearly not supposed to be a spear point prybar.
Action is smooth on Teflon washers, and lock up is solid and confident.
Ergos are good, pocket clip invokes invisibility, blade is shaving sharp.
Centered blade would’ve bought this one 5 stars, but it’s a promising start from a new player in the market.
Glad I bought it.
Thanks again Blade HQ for your fast processing. You are consistently the best fulfillment company out there, and your customer service people are always incredibly pleasant and professional.
UPDATE: had this for a while now, really grows on you.
Upped it to 5 stars as over time the blade centered itself without adjustment. Maybe the washers had to set, no idea, no blade play, it just gets smoother and smoother all the time.
$150 knife now, not $75. $122 on blade HQ is a steal.
My appreciation of the sleipner steel has increased immensely.
May have to try their other products now.
Interesting company
