Nice knife BUT...
i recieved te knife and instanly liked it. knife itself has great action and build. very good quality except for the pocket clip. the first time i tried putting in my pocket the clip snapped in half. i reached out to bladehq and never heard anything back. i contacted benchmade and recieved excellent customer service immediately. so 5 stars to benchmade and 1 star for bladehq. probably… read more wouldnt buy another knife from them.
My new favorite every day carry knife
I really like this knife! The automatic action is so very smooth. Its extremely light weight clipped to my pocket and it feels great in my hand. In fact, I like it so much that I am going to buy a second one. You get what you pay for and this knife is worth every penny!
Benchmade Makes Really Good Knives!
First OTF
This is my first OTF, so I have nothing to compare it to. I like the action, but the excessive up-and-down blade play means I'm never going to actually use this to cut anything. As far as three-hundred-dollar fidget toys go, it's not bad.
Best otf I own!
I like this knife better than my microtechs it has better fit and finish by far. My microtechs have always had wiggle in the button and lots of blade play (even though all otf knives have blade play) my benchmade seems better than the competition.

Lightweight, very fast, some of the best metal and aluminum found on earth- wow!
What you cant see in the pics is the sound it makes when you open and close, loud and confident.
Also cant see the detail on the blade, its covered in small ribs that cover the entire blade.
Safe: pops off track easily if its somehow deployed by accident.

Great EDC
I love this knife. I traded in my old Benchmade auto presidio for it and I dont regret it at all. The blade arrived razor sharp like any Benchmade. Its as fast as the day I bought it almost a year ago, and the blade holds its edge very nicely. The only issue Ive had so far is the dark earth anodized finish is wearing off on the corners from me keeping it in the same pocket as my… read more keys everyday, but I kind of like it. As I have come to expect from BM, the materials, fit and finish, action and overall build quality are excellent. The single edge blade is a good shape for edc type cutting and comes in the excellent CPM-S30V. The weight/profile and the deep carry clip make it very comfortable to carry all day. This is a awesome knife very tight and responsive. My previous experience with this type of knife was they were junk. But this is quality at it finest Benchmade knocked it out of the park with this design. And a life time warranty on top of that.

Slim blade
I like this knife a lot. I bought this over [Brand X] because I trust the warranty more. Not to say anything bad about [Brand X], but I am more familiar with Benchmade. I do wish the blade was wider, but its still a great blade. I carry it regularly but not as my primary blade. It came razor sharp and the action is smooth and easy to use.

I love my Benchmade Phaeton! Very smooth and easy to operate dual action OTF. Plus it has a single edge making it legal to carry in more areas!
Great OTF
The blade is slim and sharp. It does have a little wobble though, as most do. Locks up well, and works great for all my cutting needs.

First of all I want to tell you that I am in love with this magical OTF.
I am an owner of Ultratech, Troodon, HK Turmoil and a lot high and low quality OTFs . Phaeton inherited all OTF buffs. It is the best in all aspects, technically and aesthetically.
