Benchmade is adding a tactical folding knife to their SOCP line with the 390 series. This 390SBK MODel sports a black G-10 handle and a black coated spear point blade with a partially serrated edge. The 390 SOCP was designed by Greg Thompson to be a first-option compliment to the other SOCP fixed blades. It offers a large profile that's ready for anything, with a slim build that is comfortable for on or off-duty carry. The tip-down clip and thumb disc opener enhance deployment speed for time critical situations. Love the length and blade shape. I like the handle but hope to upgrade it soon. This is an excellent knife for tactical use.

It’s a tactical and stabby, long blade. This knife opens well, it takes me a second with the long handle, but with the blade length, it has to be. Nice to have a different offering from Benchmade.

I have been using this as an everyday carry for about three weeks. Although the knife is very long both overall and blade length it is extremely comfortable in the front pocket and draws very smoothly and quickly. This is the first knife i have owned with a D2 blade and after putting it through some tough tests have… read more found it to very good at holding an edge and sharpens back up very nicely on a diamond sharpener. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the handle. It feels too flat and is slightly awkward in my hand. This is a personal preference thing which is why i still gave it 5 stars. The glass breaker is also a very good feature.

old my overused Balisong for free. The only knife company I like better is spyderco probably because I live in Colorado and have been a fan from the start many years ago.
The SOCP is bad ass
