"Eye"-Catching Budget Bling!

an Egyptian-themed knife goes, this is the clear winner.
Putting the flashy--dare I say, even semi-gaudy--appearance to the side, it's actually a wonderful knife.
The action is smooth and snappy. It feels great in the hand. And the blade shape is very versatile.
I like the cutouts in the handle, less for their looks but more for their hidden function.
These make for nice gripping areas where the fingers can dig in and hold on a little bit better.
For example, if I want to use my knife with my left hand, where I lose the pocket clip that I'm used to leveraging for control, I gain the use of the cutouts to secure the knife instead.
Now I'm wondering why all knives don't have some sort of cutout or ambidextrous/alternative design in case we need to switch hands.
Overall, it's a wonderful knife that will serve a variety of EDC needs--but with a bit of flair.
