Ratings and Reviews
I like it a lot, with a couple caveats.
I got this knife about a week ago at the time of this review. I am very impressed with the quality of the knife, given its $50 price tag. I have knives almost twice as expensive that aren't as nice (looking at you SOG). It has a very nice look about it too, as I now consider it the prettiest knife I own. The blade is thick and sturdy, and it came decently sharp. Not as sharp as…

I would have liked, but not so bad that I had to sharpen it out of box. The blade is very nicely balanced. You can deploy it with the flipper without having to flick your wrist at all, and the deployment is fast.
The traction is what I'd call poor. It's not non-existent since G10 naturally has a slight texture, but it could be a lot better. Take notes from how spyderco does their G10. The pocket clip is tip up, which is my preference, but it's not reversible for left handed carry. I knew it wasn't reversible when I bought it, but I just don't think there is any excuse to have knives be non ambi anymore. This is 2018.
Overall the knife is very nice and I'm glad I bought it, but the clip not being reversible is annoying for any of us lefties. If you are right handed, definitely buy it with confidence. Lefties should too, just know that it's not designed with us in mind.
Bestech has impressed me with this, and i will be buying more of their knives. The value they provide is amazing. Other big manufacturers need to take notes on quality and price.
Note: BHQ has the handle color listed as OD green, which it isn't. Its much closer to a tan or FDE than anything. Which I personally prefer anyway.
