Hinge Screw came loose after 3 days

Mitchell C.

So far I really do like this Knife. It feels good in the hand, came in sharp, the actions is nice but this is the 3rd day I have had the knife and I have had a small hick up with it. Through the what is probably over 500 times of opening and closing it (the actions is really that fun), the screw that keeps the hinge together became loose and I was able to undo it with my thumb. read more What this tells me is that I might need some lock tight in order to keep the screw from undoing itself, which is a little annoying, but not a deal breaker to try to send it back. To me it really is the perfect size and a great shape.

I was gifted this knife by my brother, it's is overall wonderful.
I love its unique blade shape and the contrast the painted part of it brings. With D2 in this bad boy, you feel you get out lucky paying around $50 for it. It was a strong detent but with a VERY smooth action, it is fine. Also, the nice thick steel liners make this a sturdy knife as well, though they do add some read more weight.
The pin through the blade offers a nice clean aesthetic of the knife which I appreciate.

Bestech offers some great knives, you may not have to buy THIS bestech but you should buy A bestech!

I bought this because it was on of bestech's only ambi knives at the time. Its a great size. The clip is great. The flipper tab is ok, but id prefer read more for it to be slightly angled back instead of straight out. The texturing is superb. The deployment is fantastic, just like most other bestechs. The edge wasn't that sharp out of box, and since its D2, its a bear to sharpen. I still haven't gotten a desirable edge on it yet, so sadly I haven't carried it much. The handle also seems smaller in hand than it is somehow, and there is a spot on the front of the choil that isn't that comfortable in hand. Otherwise its a pretty good knife. Just wish the edge came sharper.

Wow Again.

My second Bestech. I love this knife ever more than my 1st Bestech. Everything is as it should be. Sharp, blade centered, excellent quality control, no blade play. Smooth flipping action and pivot. I have purchased alot of knives in this price range, multiple brands, Bestech is top in my option so far. Great pocket knife, might be a bit big for some people when used as a pocket read more knife
