Good value, classic pattern
I picked this up because I love this pattern. Mine was very well put together. It opens and closes smooth as glass, and locks up like a bank vault. I have several Queens in this pattern and only a couple of them have no wobble in either direction. The 440C sharpens up easily on my Sharpmaker, and holds its edge reasonably well. It is not a super steel, but it is a very good one.… read more The frame and bolsters are stainless steel as are the pins. This seems to make this knife slightly lighter than other brass and nickel versions I have held. The wood scales are satin finished and not too slippery. They have a slight taper outward toward the lanyard hole, which aids retention. The back spring is strong without being stiff. All in all I really like it and carry it often.
