The blade rides on a bearing system for maximum smoothness. Additional touches include a bronze-anodized thumb stud, pivot collar, and backspacer. seeing online and buying based on my intuitive guess that it would be a special knife to me.
The only downside is that it's strictly a right-hand design. Both the thumb stud and frame lock are geared for the right-handed user. However, Boker and Mr. Rexford nailed the looks, mechanics and feels of this product, and I don't believe many consumers or collectors are aware of how much high-quality design, premium materials, and satisfying mechanical action are packed into this affordable product.
