Its blade is its most distinguished feature, with 300 layers of beautifully folded Damascus steel, forged from the armor of Germanys Tirpitz wARShip, which was the largest battleship ever launched by the German Navy, and the sister ship to the renowned Bismarck. The high-alloy Tirpitz steel folded with carbon tool steel makes an extremely durable, hard cutting edge, coming in at 61-63 HRC. While the blade might be the star of the show, its handle boasts its own significance, featuring walnut wood—a callback to the German rifle stocks made from the same material—and the original Tirpitz crest.
