Good knife
You can perform basic edc tasks with this knife. Very good steel for the price, cuts well.
Only downside is that when you put your finger inside its hole you can't really use all blade cutting length, but the hole makes easier to stab or punch trough objects in case you need.
Good for EDC...
Great budget EDC
Really good ergos, fit/ finish, lock up, and very solid detent. Price point can't be beat either... well worth the money. I don't usually opt for D2 steel on folders if they're satin or stonewash finished bc the steel hidden behind the pivot will show patina pretty quickly... but the acid washed version will buy more time before disassembly is required for cleaning. My only complaint… read more is how far the detent ball/ capture is from the edge of the ricasso. When the lockbar is disengaged, the flipper tab will come into contact with your thumbnail. Certainly not a deal breaker for a budget piece, and the workaround while sitting on the couch watching football is simply get your "thinking" flipper instead... my wife really 'loves' mine!
Great import knife
I'm really very impressed with the quality fit and finish of this knife. D2 tool steel is my favorite of the less expensive knife steels. I honed mine to a razor sharp edge using Arkansas stones. The ball bearing blade support system is great. It's a bit stiff at first, but after around 50 cycles it became fast and super smooth. Anyone looking for a great EDC knife of this style… read more should take a good look at one of these !
Best value
With all these sales I had to check this out, bot my normal type of knife but I've been getting a lot of brous blades since they been on sale, even at full price I'd say this item is more than worth it, small back utility knife. Fit and finish are identical to his full priced models, same blade and bearin as the $300 versions. Definitely a steal I will be getting all of these eventually.… read more I would not suggest this as a solo esc but if your a knife guy like me you carry a few blades every day and this is my first choice for secondary knife. I got mine from somewhere else but blade hq I one of the best retailers in any market your in good hands!!!
