The Buck 112 Ranger Sport is a lighter, one-handed version of the famous Buck 112 lockback knife. The Ranger Sport trades heavy wood handles and brass bolsters for a lightweight aluminum frame with a micarta inlay. The previous iterations of the 112 Ranger relied on nail nicks to open but the Ranger Sport opens at the flick of a thumb stud. The blade has been upgraded to S30V steel, a material that boasts impressive wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
