Buck makes a quality knife. This is no exception. Would not hesitate if your on the fence. As always great service from DLT. As far as scratched bolsters from the sheath....its a knife! Use it, enjoy it. I'm not paying for a top notch knife just to "look at". Buy it, use it, it's a tool!
Beautiful knife - but the sheath left me angry
I love this knife and the great nickel bolsters... but as everyone knows, nickel silver is very easy to scratch. Everyone apparently, except Buck. The fastener they used for the holster snap on the inside of the holster protrudes and is hard enough to scratch the nickel - and the first time I inserted the knife into the holster it scratched the heck out of one of the bolsters.… read more I was able to clean up most of the scratching with a bit of Flitz, and a lot of rubbing, but, come on Buck... this is a $180.00 knife. How long have you been making those leather sheaths? Anyway I still love the knife, an auto 112 make by Buck, but this could have gone better.
