This Bull Pup folding knife is an impressive mix of materials with a high level of refinement that will find a welcome place in any fine collection. The blade is 416/W2 San Mai Damascus in a drop point style with a non-sharpened swedge. Thumb stud opener on front and stamped "Burr Oak Nevling" on back. The handle features Mokume bolsters and polished lightning strike carbon fiber scales over titanium liners, with lock tab. The pocket clip is also titanium with a matching bronze finish. The steel back spacer is filed, along with the liners and blade spine. This knife comes with a signed certifiCATe of authenticity, dated 3/5/13.Mark Nevling, the craftsman and creator of Burr Oak Knives, discovered his enthusiasm for knife-making in 1987 when he cReated his first knife. He has continued in perfecting his work since that time, now as a full-time maker with a skill set that is evidenced in the exemplary Knives he produces. Mark Nevling is also a volunteer firefighter and a certified first responder in Hume, Illinois; this gives him working knowledge of the particular needs of these professionals.
