Mark Nevling, the craftsman and creator of Burr Oak Knives, discovered his enthusiasm for knife-making in 1987 when he cReated his first knife. He has continued in perfecting his work since that time, now as a full-time maker with a skill set that is evidenced in the exemplary Knives he produces. Mark Nevling is also a volunteer firefighter and a certified first responder in Hume, Illinois; this gives him working knowledge of the particular needs of these professionals.This fine Viper folder is a stellar combination of materials and craftsmanship. The blade is re-squared and upset mixed parquet mosaic Damascus steel. The handle features Mokume bolsters and stag scales over titanium liners. The san mai steel back spacer is filed, along with the liners and blade spine. This knife comes with a signed certifiCATe of authenticity, dated 11/21/13.
