This Copperhead has a Pocket Worn Bermuda Green bone handle and clip and pen blades.The 2021 Vault pattern is the Copperhead. The Copperhead is designed to be just enough to be useful, but not too big, and easy on the pocket. The knife gets its name from the Copperhead snake, with a front bolster resembling the head of a Copperhead. The bolster pushes fabric out of the way as it goes in and out of a pocket, preventing the tang from snagging. The copperhead pattern comes in three blade variations: Clip and pen blades, Wharncliffe and pen blades, and a clip blade only.The Case Vault Series is a program that celebrates some of the traditional designs of yesteryear, by bringing patterns out of the vault for one year of production. Also, I forgot how joyous putting an edge on softer steel was, I'm used to sharpening 10 minutes just to get a working edge on a well-maintained knife. I reprofiled the not-so-good edge grind, cleaned it up, and had it razor sharp in that amount of time.
Great size, easy to carry, polished, well put together, priced right, and classy.
Sorry for the wordy response, but man, a simple knife, and nostalgia hit me in all the feel-goods.
