Another Civivi Success

Simple design in my opinion but that is perfectly fine with me. No play in the blade, satisfyingly smooth flipping open and closing, razor sharp out of the box. Great value at a reasonable price. This makes the fourth Civivi I own and they are all great little knives. I am a fan of Civivi. 5 Stars!!

Smooth and Fidgety

I bought this knife to not even knowing how much I would love it. It is far and away my favorite Civivi I own and I own the Praxis, Cogent, and Elementum, and Ortis and have owned but gave away the baklash. This one is by far my favorite and I really love those others for different reasons. If you are unsure about buying it, don't think twice... you wont regret getting this one...I read more know that I don't.

Best action on a Civivi in my opinion. Ergos are outstanding for medium/large hands. Comparable in feel to a PM2. Love this knife. The grind is done very well.

Perfect for EDC.

Perfect size for my hand, I can get a full 4 finger grip on it, and has a small finger choil where I can choke up on the blade a little more. love the tanto-style blade and the action is perfect. I can reverse finger flick, thumb flick, and use the flipper tab without any problem. the blade comes sharp where I can shave the hair off my arm and slice through paper like nothing is read more there. Deep carry clip to help conceal the knife better and the G10 scales are grippy and I don't have to worry about it slipping out my hand when in use. I can't find any cons about this knife and as my first Civivi my expectations are high cause I hear nothing but good things about Civivi. and my expectations have been met. 10/10 will buy again if something happens and will recommend it to a friend.

This knife is smooth, and solid. Very good action! Drops shut very nice. Deep deep carry pocket clip. No blade play. Very sharp. I love the smooth coating on the blade. Nice small thumb ramp with nice gimping. Perfect detent. It kicks out nice using the flipper or thumb studs. I love it! The g10 feels just right. The weight is perfect. Lock up is 50%. Blade is centered. Very stealthy read more looking knife. I really like the blade profile. It looks really good! And if you are left handed. The pocket clip is reversible. Plus thumb studs and flipper tab make it ambidextrous The only thing is the lanyard hole/triangle takes a bit of work trying to get 550 para cord through it. I think it looks better without a lanyard on it. So if you are a lanyard nut I’d go with 275 para cord or 550 just got to work it through a bit. So If you are looking at this one and having a hard time deciding. I say just buy it. 50$ is a great deal! You can always return it if you don’t like it. Great job and well done Civivi!

Just buy it

If you're reading this -- buy the PURPLE version -- such a great knife, a bit larger, but a solid choice with an awesome color. No issues or complaints!

One of the best Budget/Mid-range EDCs

This was my first Civivi purchase that I have made, and I do not regret it. Good blade steel and shape, handle is shaped really well, and the G-10 has a good feel to it. Action is superb (just like any other Civivi that I have heard about), and the over all fit-and-finish is amazing. My only gripe, if you can consider it a gripe, was that the pocket clip was a little stiff out of read more the box, but after a couple months of nonstop carry, it has loosened up to where it slides in and out of the pocket really well. 10/10 would recommend.

One of my current carry favorites

Very handsome knife. The Damascus looks fantastic. The dark micarta handle is an attractive shade of drab grey/green. As expected of a Civivi, it opens and closes one-handed, super smoothly. I prefer the flipper method, but the thumb studs work OK too. It fits well in my hand (4 finger grip), though the lanyard hole insert and pocket clip are a little hot spotty. The knife is too read more nice looking for hard use though, so I doubt the hot spots will be much of an issue.
