Small issue

Okay I really like this blade, it’s going to be a beater, my edc box cutter for work, so replaceable blades is a plus(although I do wish it was at least compatible with your standard razor blade.)

This was the only option as far as what I wanted, retractable, pocket clip, titanium and not too minimal, well it wasn’t but I refuse to pay $185 for the Chaves Chub.

I read more will say my only complaint is the retractable mechanism needs some refinement, the spring itself is just cheap for what you’re paying. I think a magnetic based system would work far better and be a much smoother experience, it’s not terrible but it’s not up to the standards that I'm used to WE providing.

If there was an updated version, I’d like to see a better retractable mechanism, and potentially have a universal/standard utility blade option, because the blades that come with it are a bit long and overkill for what I need them to do. But it is nice that they included extra blades and a nice Damascus Show Piece blade.

Great Secondary

I wanted this primarily as a secondary knife to open packages and the like. Much more attractive and easier to carry than a box cutter. This keeps my primary blade sharper longer and avoids any unnecessary damage to it. That will make this a bit niche as a product as you could just buy a series of “beater” knives. I would guess most knife people would intuit the use case for read more it. It is nicely built. Slides open well. Replaceable blades are nice. The only real issue is the non-standard replaceables could be a future irritation. I figure the three extras should last about a year and generally I lose or destroy beater knives in that timeframe. So depends on your use and preference. If you just want a shop box cutter backup then get a folding box cutter and 50 blades for much less. But if you want a little style this is a great choice.
