Very impressed

I own several Benchmade knives and plenty other CRKT's etc.
I'm not bashful about returning new knives that do not function properly or live up to my expectations, this one is a keeper.
This is my first Civivi and wont be my last.
The fit & finish is beautiful, the function is perfect!
The blade is centered perfectly when closed with zero side to side play when open.
The read more liner lock operates with ease, not too loose, not too stiff, just right amount of tension.
I give it 5 stars.

Not Damascus

So the blade isn’t even close to really being Damascus. It’s some kind of etching process. Which is really disappointing. Like serious regret disappointed. The knife actually is so light that it feels fake and the grind was/is (I still haven’t fixed it 100%) pretty sad. My wife thought the handle was plastic instead of wood… sigh. But the finish is there, and it flips alright. read more I wouldn’t say the lock-up was remarkable. Overall, even if this knife was $55.00 I’d be a little disappointed, but at 89... I probably should have returned it, but instead I sharpened it to get a working edge before really inspecting it. My bad. I’ll use it as a beater.

Great knife for the price

I bought this knife impulsively for a reason I don’t even remember, but I’m glad I did. A while ago, I also bought the Civivi Baklash and was very impressed with the quality and build.

This knife is lighter than you would think, but it in a bad way, the action is smooth right out of the box and the wood and dark steel look beautiful next to each other. The deep carry read more pocket clip won’t tear up your pockets either and has a sleek design.

This is actually the first knife I cut myself with thin the 3 years of knife collecting, I did it while closing it, my thumb made just enough of a movement for the blade to cut while I was closing it. Not a complaint, just showing how sharp it is out of the box too.

Absolutely worthy the money on sale or not, great brand overall, I would highly recommend to someone looking for a budget folder and a more premium piece of cutlery.

Civivi nailed it with this one!

This is easily one of my favorite knives I own. The fit and finish on it are outstanding and the action is super smooth , which makes you just want to play with it. The edge is plenty sharp out of the box. It fits mt larger hand very nice and is totally balanced.

Amazing knife!

Feels great in hand & great flipper action! Came with a very nice little fur lined pouch for storage. I like it better than my Spyderco, and thats saying something! Bottom line, Large blade, lightweight, stone washed, micarta, nice steel=win win!!

Great Knife

I first bought the brown micarta version and while I liked the knife, the micarta was a little on the slick side. So I took a chance on the damascus/wood version and so glad I did.
The knife is light, the wood has enough texture to give it some grip, and the blade looks sharp. I like the wider blade and the action is typical Civivi - great out of the box.
Understand the micarta read more version isn't terrible, it's just the damascus/wood is a notch better. No hesitation to recommend this knife.

Sweet Flippin’ Knife

Smooth action. The micarta handle scales feel great. I wasn’t sure about the triangular cutout on the blade but it gives the user a couple other options on how to open this knife besides the flipper. Makes it a fun knife to fidget with. Blade is very slicey and came very sharp and perfectly centered. This is my 3rd Civivi and I’ve been impressed with all of them. Great knife read more for the price.
