One of Civivi's Best
This knife is AMAZING!!!
Where to begin?
I think the Vexer is EDC perfection.
It's a very large knife with a 4-inch blade and a 5-inch handle but it feels nimble enough for light, detailed work.
The blade has a nice point for piercing and a long belly for slicing.
The finger choil actually feels like a dedicated finger choil, so I feel safe choking…

up on this blade.
It has dual deployment options: 1) the flipper and 2) the thumb hole...or dare I say elongated droopy opening, which is really my only meh feeling about the knife.
I'm not a super fan of the thumb hole shape in the blade, but it does allow for the reverse flick almost anywhere along the length of the opening.
The G10 scale texture is in the Goldilocks zone: not too rough, not too smooth, but just right!
Accessing the liner lock is super easy and comfortable. The texture/jimping on the liner lock release is smooth along the edges, which makes closing the knife pain-free.
All the edges are nicely chamfered, so it feels like a dream in hand.
Even the flipper jimping is pleasantly knocked back enough to make flipping the Vexer a sweet addiction.
It might be on the heavier side for some, but I like the heft and weight of this knife.
I enjoy feeling its presence and knowing that it's right where I want it, whether in pocket or hand.
Looking at the clip angle is a bit jolting because it seems a touch extreme; however, after exploring how it would hang in the pocket, it seems to be a great design.
At least I hope the pocket clip angle was by design and not just a happy accident because by-design would mean someone was smart enough to anticipate what makes a great knife, and we need more great knives like the Vexer.
Overall, we (the customers) win all the way around with this knife.
Enjoy the slice!
The hype is real
I've owned several more pricey knives (Spyderco, Benchmade, Cold Steel), and I still marvel at the overall quality of CIVIVI knives at this price point. This is my second CIVIVI and from comparing this to my Baklash and from just looking at other CIVIVIs online, I think they were going for medium/hard-use/tactical with this one. The G10 texture is just right for a hard use knife… read more (medium grit), beefy blade stock, beautiful and useful blade shape, and the action...oh the action. Have to say I love these newer CIVIVIs with the flipper + the thumb "cutout". I actually hope CIVIVI makes some more knives like this with only the cutout. It's literally easier to "Spydie-flick" than a Spyderco. Overall, this knife is solid, beautiful, and I think a great value for the price.
Excellent knife, and for a good price.
This knife is of excellent quality, especially for the price point. It has a solid lockup with no blade play, good steel, good action, comes very sharp, and is well designed. I highly recommend this knife, especially if you're looking for one that is a bit on the bigger side but still suitable for EDC.
Well Made for the Price
G-10 is grippy. Flipping action is strong and crisp. Also has a thumb hole for manual opening very versatile knife. Nice long blade with comfortable choil. My favorite feature is the deep pocket clip because you can barely see any knife showing while in your pants despite the large size of knife. D2 has great edge retention just oil your blade as needed for corrosion.
