Rampart Copper

Very nice knife for the price tag. Its got some weight to it with copper scales and and has some nice closing action to it. Bladehq is wonderful to purchase from and they get your purchases to you quickly. Might take a take a little time to get the flipper opening smooth but no regrets with the purchase

Great Budget Knife

First Impressions: The knife came in very simple packaging. A cardboard box with the knife sealed in a plastic bag. Upon initially inspection, the knife has some heft, the blade lined up perfectly in the center and had no dings or nicks. The action had a bit of grit when first opening, but very nicely broke in after about 2 hours of fidgeting with it. One "Downside" is the scales read more are not perfectly flush with the liners. Only a visual mark, but for the price I cannot dock it, as the difference is very minor and may not show up in your knife. There are also some marks in the scales where CJRB did not fully sand the copper with a finer sanding disk. I am unsure if this is an issue, as the scoring from the sanding disk might actually add some grip to the scales vs having perfectly polished copper to hold. Again, I do not mind it, as this is hardly noticeable, especially as the copper patinas.

2 weeks later: The action has worn in beautifully. The knife has a nice detent when closing and opens nice and smooth. I am not a fan of pocket clips, so after a bit of time carrying it I removed the pocket clip. This does reveal some marks where the pocket clip is pressed into the scale. I am not too bothered by this, as I want the knife to have a weathered look anyways. The edge is easy to maintain and does get very sharp.

Final thoughts: I think this knife is a great option for those who want a solid, unique knife on a budget. The blade shape is super cool, the knife is well built, and copper makes everything look better. I would definitely buy a CJRB again.

Great Value, Great Quality

This is my first CJRB knife and I will most definitely be getting more from this manufacturer. I am TYPICALLY only a "Made in USA" buyer, but wanted to give this knife a try (blade is made in China). The D2 steel came sharp as a razor and cuts like butter. Probably one of the few $50 price range knives I have bought that came this sharp right outta the box. The action on the flip read more is smooth and reliable, no tweaking necessary. Love the copper handle and how it is already starting to patina from the natural oils on my hands when using it. Definitely looking forward to seeing what else CJRB has and adding another knife or two to my EDC rotation.

This is a great all around knife for the price. The copper scales make it look classy although it does add a bit of weight. Came shaving sharp and the action is smooth and satisfying. Quick video review on the non-monetized YouTube channel "Stabby Things"
