This AK47 MODel has a black G-10 handle and a black finished S35VN steel blade.The Cold Steel AK-47 is a heavy duty lockback folder, inspired by the legendary rifle of the same name. Designer Andrew Demko set out to make a tactical knife with all of the positive attributes of its namesake. It is equipped with a blade made from S35VN steel with a durable black DLC finish. Cold Steel's state of the art Tri-Ad lock provides a reliable lock up you can depend on during your toughest cutting jobs. The G-10 handle scales are textured for improved grip. I like more than I thought I would. super slicey, great ergonomics
I have had the mini ak47 in aus8 for a while and got a really good price for the full size. fits my hand perfectly. Right out of the box, in my top 3 sharpest factory edge I have ever received. Took a little bit of the usual to break in a cold steel and it is drop shut smooth. everything i thought might be an issue about this knife actually works well. Built Like A Tank
This thing is built like a tank, the ergonomics are fantastic, this knife basically melts in your hand, and is very secure in it as well with the swell on the back end. The thumb disc takes some getting used to though, and I sometimes have trouble deploying it, but if you snag it on your pants, you can deploy it like an Emerson Wave style knife, great for self defense. This knife… read more came stupid sharp. The clip leaves something to be desired, the placement of it and its size is kind of strange, but that is a problem most Cold Steel knives have. The G10 is really grippy, I sanded the area underneath the clip so it wouldn't tear my pocket up. Overall a great knife!
