This knife is straight up badass. Tri ad Lock is a gift from God, this lock is indestructible. Not sure how anybody could give this a bad review, either they got a dud(unlikely) or more likely bought a clone from a private vendor cause this is absolute professional quality. Absolutely worth the price if you have the money for it, I own the XL too both of these are great collectors read more pieces or good for EDC as well though personally id recommend the AUS10 versions for EDC still awesome steel and then you dont have to worry about damaging your expensive knife but thats not to say these s35vns wouldnt function better considering the steel. Also look baller as hell, cant go wrong with this one

I use mine as a foldable machete, in this role it serves well against the blackberries that overrun my world.
I’m not sure about the aus10a. It no doubt sharpens well, but needs a touch up after a two or three hour hike with trail clearing.

Excellent Cold Steel Quality; Comes Very Very Sharp!

This is a massive folder. This is more of a collectors piece I would say, however, with somewhat deep pants pockets and you can carry this monster. I would not want to get pulled over with this thing on me though, you will most likely be treated as a terrorist LOL. This thing is SHARP, I tested it... on my finger. The blade drops closed like a guillotine, and it did just that and read more surgically took off the tip of my pinky finger. 3 weeks counting, I'm still healing, and have a new found respect for this pocket sword. BUY IT!

This knife is huge. This Is definitely not going to be my edc carry but as a self defense in my home as it is very hard to carry a gun in the state of California. This is definitely the next best option for that. Hopefully I will never have to use it.

Amazing!

Absolutely love this Knife. Lots of comments else where about it being impractical, no use for it, way to big to carry etc. I didn’t buy this knife for everyday day use, I bought it for EDC as a self defense weapon. Hopefully it will never e used for that. Almost impossible to carry a firearm in California so this is a close second to a firearm. Razor sharp blade, amazing self read more deployment and super easy to wrist flick it or use a downward deploy method. Great G10 scales, super strong lock up with no play. Super glad I bought this knife. Can’t wait to get it into the kitchen for some for prep!

This knife is excellently conceived, designed and executed. I am grateful that Lynn and CS unapologetically produce tools and weapons like this.

Carries like an IWB gun holster

You don’t need big pockets for this. Slide it inside your pants and hook the clip over your belt. Adjust the position so that you can stand or sit with it in place. It is thinner than any and gun and lighter than most guns. It’s not too uncomfortable, but you won’t forget it’s there.

I can legally carry a gun anywhere I can carry this, but it is a viable option for read more those who can’t carry a gun.

Didn't live up to expectations

I will say I overlooked the fact that it was in s35vn. So it has that drool factor. There is no left hand carry, which I would prefer. There is blade play. Really? I buy some 30 dollar budget from cold steel that locks up like a bank vault. I give you 300 dollars and it wobbles? In what world does this make sense? "Get a fixed bla-" SHUTUP GREG. I just saw the handle and lost it. read more Tried to get a medium but they were sold out, I did however get a g10 medium and that's solid, so solid in fact that it's hard to close even when you want it to. So if you are to chose an espada based off build quality, I'd go with the g10 variation. Aluminum doesn't feel as beefy, I like beef. Do not recommend but I'm not returning it either so take that for what it's worth. And it's worth is far overpriced for quality. Will grab a g10 variation though. I'm sure those are way more solid and take consideration for left handed lives.
