It’s good
One of the good crkt’s I bought a few for supply…. Take that however you want.it’s a good one.
Cool design
Good design, bad price for steel quality. Opens very easily and the shape of the knife is appealing. Frame lock is extremely stiff, hopefully it will get better but my lock with sticky frame locks is bad.
The knife that strated it all
This was my first knife to introduce me into the world of edc and knife collecting I none stop use the tuna. I have taking it camping multiple times and when I say I put it through hell I put it through HELL!!! I whittled wood down hundreds of times to make fire tinder and sharping isn't hard to do with a water stone. Surprise!
Wow... the action on this knife is FANTASTIC! I honestly wasn't expecting much from it, but the action alone blew me away. If I were rating it on that alone, it's probably in the top 3 of some 100 knives that I own. The weight of the blade just propels it during deployment with less effort than you'd expect, and smoothly. It is a weird looking knife though, and that's probably why I don't carry it more often, but when I do, I don't regret it. Feeling solid, having great action, and looking just a little different are what makes this knife a great buy!
Beautiful design, poor blade material
I literally feel bad for Lucas Burnley - of 30 knives I own, this is a top 3 design. Everything was thought of, even for a budget knife.

Cons: 8cr13mov and hellish thread locker.
I would pay $55 for this knife if CRKT would just make it serviceable by using blue thread locker, $75 with upgraded steel to 9cr18mov or D2, $115 with S30 V and bronze washers. With this amazing well-thought out design, I can imagine the possibility of anodized aluminum or titanium on the show side and washed titanium frame lock side for $200 to really showcase the design.
Classic Budget CRKT Execution
I love Burnley’s designs and they’re really the main reason I own and use CRKT knives. That said, the Tuna has some hits and misses:

but it’s really a hollow grind which further adds to the working performance. They saved a lot of weight by counterbalancing the steel lock side with a G10 show side, so the knife sits well in the pocket with a deeper carry clip and slim design. Opens smooth on nylon washers; locks up solid; closes easily with plenty of access to the lock bar. Dual thumb studs work well for a slow thumb role or flick and reverse flick opening.
Misses: The sharpening choil does not clear the plunge completely which makes it near impossible to sharpen the heel of the blade. Not a huge issue, especially for the casual user who doesn’t need to sharpen the 8Cr steel often, but still a noteworthy issue. The detent is really soft on this model which makes snapping it open with a flick require a bit of wrist action as it is from the factory. I did achieve a much stronger detent by carefully bending in the lockbar upon disassembly. I like to disassemble all of my knives upon receiving them to clean out the factory gunk, tune them up, and / or make cosmetic modifications. The Tuna is hard to impossible to take apart due to the abundance of thread locker used from the factory. I own two of these knives and both arrived locked shut like a vault. The second one I received was unable to be completely disassembled due to fear of stripping out the heads of the rear screws. This is unfortunate for anyone wanting to perform maintenance on this knife.
Overall: This is a solid knife as a great everyday user. Fit and finish, performance, carry, and usability is good for this price range. Unfortunately, as with so many CRKT knives, the designs are awesome but the executions miss the mark, especially when other brands out there are killing it using similar materials at the same price points.
