Smooth Action, Frame Lock

Really impressed with this Ken Onion design. The action is smooth, thanks to the ball bearing. The frame lock-up is solid. Excellent value in an EDC.

Good hunting knife

Bought as a hunting knife for whitetails. Size and comfort are fine. Season hasn't opened yet so I haven't used it to process game yet. I also have a CRKT Fossil and a carajas. They both are smoother opening knives. I don't know if that's a model thing or this particular knife just needs to get worked in.

Was my first knife!

Well this was my first knife that wasn’t off the $8 rack.
I bought this knife as my first EDC. I carried it for 2 years and it was great until........I pried with it and snapped the tip of course. Bought another one and bought one for my grandpa. My only complaints are that the carry clip is a hotspot and also cut into my hand, my best advice is request a replacement and then read more modify that clip. The other is the steel because it’s so soft but at the same time I’ve got that to an extreme sharpness so no big deal.

PS. The cool thing about my first one is that the paint or anodizing wore quite beautifully.

Great EDC!!

bought this for a friend and liked it so much i had to buy one for myself. the inlay material is a bit cheap, but it still looks nice and the blade lends itself well to everyday carry due to the size and thin-ness of the knife.

Fantastic EDC option

I can't believe you don't hear more good things about this knife. I bought this mostly for the IKBS ball bearing action and it doesn't disappoint. Solid lockup on the nice frame lock with no blade play in either direction. This is the only knife that challenges my ZT 0452cf in terms of smooth action. The only negative is that the pocket clip sweeps up at the end which can be a serious read more ergonomic hotspot if not held a certain way. However, still an impressive value.
