The Swindle has a smooth frame lock handle with IKBS pivot for super smooth action. The fLipper blade is a wharncliffe style with a hollow grind. Ken decided to use a clip design flowing from the tail end of the knife, back over the spine. small and elegant. smooth deployment. fits in the pocket like a pen. perfect knife for formal event
Smooth and sleek but check the lock
When I first bought this knife, the locking "arm" did not have enough spring to keep the blade locked, so I returned it. The replacement works great! Besides being a smooth and sleek blade, the unique clip allows for me to use the corner of my pocket, rather than the front--it's a MUCH better position especially if you are not just wearing jeans.
Great knife, meh clip
The knife has a great style, it's comfortable to hold and it's soooo smooth at opening. The only problem I have with it is the pocket clip. It's an interesting idea having an integral clip, but the position just doesn't work well for having it in your pocket. If you just put it in your pocket without the clip, it's a great knife.

I really like the look and feel of this knife. It arrived very sharp and ready for duty.
Two issues I quickly encountered:
1) Due to the orientation of the clip vs the blade, it is not positioned properly in your hand when pulled from your pocket. This is the first knife I've had with this issue. Think of pulling a Benchmade Osborne 904 (my favorite EDC) from your pocket.…

It naturally rests in your hand ready to be deployed. This Swindle needs to be rotated first.
2) WARNING: Somehow, it opened in my pocket. I have no idea how it happened... nothing wrong with the tension, for example. I cut myself deeply when I reached into my pocket for something else.

Can't Believe how smooth the knife is.
I purchased this knife and was extremely impressed with how smooth this knife is. The flipper's detent is extremely nice. The knife flips open without effort. One fine detail to point out is that the knife's spine is crowned. Sweet touch for a budget knife. I must say it makes my Benchmade Anthem seem it is a overpriced gritty knife.

Everything I said regarding the Leek applies to the Swindle. Pocket clip and sizes makes it better suited to ride in the coin pocket of pants or jeans, but it's just as versatile and, like the Leek, an affordable knife that won't make you flinch when you use it.
