It's made of tough 1.4116 stainless steel, and operates using CRKT's proprietary Deadbolt Lock. The knife opens smooth with the fLipper, and will stay open for as long as you need. Solid-built, interesting lock
Lots of 'can' in a small package. Sharp out of the box, no play in the blade. Three inches is legal most places I go, and it's nicely inconspicuous. The opening action was a little sluggish at first, but if it smooths out as it seems to be working toward, I'd upgrade it to five stars. Like the deadbolt feature!
