That lock tip...

JUAN E.

I agree 100% with the first review. This is a great knife but the lock tip has sharp edges. I slightly scraped the back of my hand while getting the car keys from my pocket. Also, the lock thumb cylinders have sharp edges. I love the overall shape and blade style and will still put it in my knife rotation. It is a great value for the cost. I might use ultra-fine grit sandpaper for read more metal to smooth out the edges.

Fits in boot

Gary R.

The review I read before buying this knife was spot on. I wanted to get a boot knife but thought I would try this one out for that use.
I have been wearing it in my boot for a couple of weeks and have found it to stay in place very well. I place the clip through the boot's bootstrap from back to front and at a downward angle like you would do if placed in your pocket. The overall read more knife's thickness is thin enough not to rub against the outside of my right leg.
Your leg and boot may have different space available to wear the knife this way.

So about that lock...

The lock is its greatest strength and greatest weakness. With repeated opening and closing it will beat your thumb up pretty good, there's just a little too much tension on the back spring. This is too bad because the fidget factor is high with this one, like an axis, compression or strap lock. It's also a simple yet very strong lock.
Everything else is great, the blade, the read more grip shape and texture, pocket clip is all very nice.
Be nice to see a steel upgrade and maybe some skeletonized liners.
Decent buy at $30, especially for that neat lock.
