Almost perfect
This knife is an almost perfect EDC out of the box, with a beautifully thin and sharp blade, good ergonomics, and a useful gimmick in the field strip technology. the only two complaints I have are that the opening hole comes uncomfortably sharp and the detent was too soft for my tastes. Both of these are easily fixable, thirty seconds with a round file fixed the opening hole and… read more just bend the lockbar a bit to increase the detent (easily done with the fieldstrip).
Camp knife +
Bought this for a down & dirty camp knife, but i find i,m using it as a Edc. field strip function is excellent,but be careful with the 2 washers. beefy sharp blade, centering is not perfect, but has no effect on a quick deployment.the longer i own it the better i like it...good buy!
Excellent knife at a reasonable price
It came razor sharp and the action on it is smooth as butter. Field stripping is easy, as it is one of the big selling points for this knife. I have really large hands and the fit in hand feels really good without being so large as to create an issue carrying this knife in most cities. This knife just became my EDC.
A good knife with a high price.
I like the blade profile of this knife. I really like a lot of Jesper's designs. Quality, sharpness, lock-up, fit & finish is all fine. The field strip tech is great if you have a need for that. My issue on this one is the steel & other materials choice. These are too cheap to be over $50....I wouldn't buy for more than $39 at a non-sale price. A great deal on this blade is $19.99.… read more I don't necessarily mind GFN handles either....the requirements of the field strip just dictate very thin handle materials in this design so the end result just looks/feels cheap. It's a good knock around blade but too expensive for what you get.
Sharp out of the box
Knife came very sharp. good blade profile but different handle/heavier material would get it to 5 stars for me
A ye from me
The blade centering is always off, but doesn't hinder opening or closing at all. That's my only gripe. The field strip capability is an impressive innovation.
Great design for the price
The edges of the back of the blade thumb hole are a little sharp, but the field strip overall shape of it is compelling.
