With the same quality and action as the full-size Phantom, the Mini-Phantom is a fantastic knife, just smaller! DKD Swinguard Information: Wayne Clark (formerly of Protech Knives) has cReated what may be his break-out knife. The CNC machined anodized aluminum frame houses a gorgeous dagger-style blade.This ATS-34 blade is propelled out of the handle by not one, but two springs. A combination of a leaf spring and a coil spring ensure this knife opens fast and locks in any position (lock-up is rock-tight).This is not a knife for everyone- although it's built to exact standards and would probably tolerate any abuse thrown its way, it's more of a collection center piece. Dynamic Knife Designs is not a well known company (yet) so for the sake of reference you could compare the quality of this knife to that of Protech or Microtech. It's top notch all the way.
