We apologize for any inconvenience.The Mini-Commander is, as the name infers, a smaller sized Emerson Commander, but it retains the same blade thickness so you can expect the same great performance. The black finished 154CM partially serrated blade features Emerson's patented "wave shaped opening feature" or Remote Pocket Opener. In an emergency or injury situation the knife can be opened with one hand as it is drawn from the pocket. The handle is black G-10 epoxy/glass laminate over a titanium liner lock frame. Commander- Follow up, ergos
If you are concerned about ambi operation and good fit, this is the knife for you. The ergos are top rate in all ways, extreme ease and secure operation.
I use heavy gloves allot for outdoor work, i do believe the Super Commander will be an even better fit, especially with gloves on. I wont return this one just the same, more is better.

I was very cautious about ordering this knife, i have been for some time.
The reviews have been very hard on Emerson regarding quality control and poor finish grades. I just received the knife and gave it a very good going over under good light.
What a great knife. Both fit and finish as well as operationally. This knife s so nice i cant wait to get a Super Commander!
