Pocket knife perfection

Carlos

I have wanted this knife for a couple of years and assumed it was out of stock everywhere - DLT must have found one somewhere and I'm so happy they did - and that I kept looking. It is everything I could want from a folder, just the most exquisite fit and finish, with typical Brisa/Enzo utility and purpose. It arrived on my wedding day, around a month after ordering, and is pristine read more and gorgeous. Thankfully my wife is used to sharing my attentions with new knives.. this one is no exception. The Ironwood is sublime and the metal flawlesss. A perfect pocket knife. I may have to get a G10 or CF version and save this for best. Thanks DLT..

I wrote a review on this knife over a month ago. And still I don’t see it on here! Hmmm.... but it is a very very well made knife. Super sharp. Very nice flat grind. And looks pretty. 150$ is just right and worth it. I love this knife. It’s always with me. Even when I sleep. I’m always flicking it and just holding it while watching tv or driving. That’s how much I love it! read more So much that sometimes I fall asleep with it in my hand!! Lol.

Amazing slicer

Very happy with the knife and also DLTTraiding's great service

I received the EnZo Birk 75 knife from DLTTraiding and was very impressed with the fit and finish. The knife was solid with great action on the flip and the lock up is solid and the knife has no play in the blade giving me confidence in the strength of the knife for wood carving and other EDC task I need to do. I like the pukka knife design and it worked great when I used it to read more carve some wood. Like the Scandi grind works great on wood and is easy for me to hand sharpen on a flat stone. Having a wood carving knife in scandi grind that I fold and put in my pocket is great when I do not want to carry a fixed blade on my belt.
I ordered the EnZo Birk 75 knife from DLTTraiding and was very happy with the fast service, the email comfirmation, the tracking info, the rewards points I earned and the piece of mind I had knowing the when I ordered from DLTTrading the knife would be delivered to me. Ordered the D2 steel as it may be easer to sharpen but will be buying the s30v steel next as I like the knife and want a back up for it. The carbonfiber scales are great and can not wait to try the micarta scale on the next one. And may even get one with the wood scale too.
I ordered this EnZo Birk 75 knife from a different knife distributer before ordering the this knife from DLTTrading. I am still waiting for it to be delivered, 2 weeks now, they at least could have answered their phone or returned my message and email I sent. I was worried after I did not get the email comfirmation they said they would send me after I paid with PayPal. I am going to stick with DLTTrading from now on.

I am very happy with this nice. It was my first EnZo and I am very impressed with it. The quality is obviously high, and it is very simple and elegant. Fit and finish is nice and the materials seem very good. And a great handle and steel combination.

I've had and used this

I've had and used this knife for about a month now. It rides well in the pocket and the blade is an excellent slicer. The blade deploys smoothly and quickly, and while the blade doesn't simply drop back in, it does close very smoothly. I feel the blade could have been a bit larger given the size of the handle, but that doesn't make it any less useful. This knife is going in my regular read more rotation. I'm very happy with the purchase.

This is my second Birk

Robert Lee

This is my second Birk 75. I bought this because of the Ivory Micarta. It was just too pretty. The first Birk 75 was in carbon fiber scale, 30V, and also Scandi ground. As a practical matter, the CF version has slightly better ergonomics. The scales have better traction..

Now, a word or two about the Scandi grind and less than stainless steels like D2. This is a general read more observation, and not a criticism of the Birk.

Scandis are dead simple to get more than razor sharp as the bevel itself keeps the sharpening angle consistent. However, because the contact area with stone is huge, it takes a relatively long time to actually wear enough metal away to reform the edge apex. On both my full Scandi carbon steel Moras and this Birk, surface rust began to form while sharpening.

The Mora rusts if you just breath on it, although it's faster to sharpen because of the softer steel. The D2 is more rust resistant, but being a harder steel, took longer to work on. In the end, don't be surprised if you need to do some slight buffing work after a sharpening session.

I'm considering the FFG version of the Birk in S30V. This is likely to be the most EDC-capable version of this quite wonderful knife.

The CF version of this model was great, but I had to have the Desert Ironwood. The scales are very nicely finished and make the knife really stand out. There aren't a lot of folders in the Birk line, but the quality is superb on the two I have owned. Excellent size for the pocket and nice deep carry. I'm surprised more people don't own one.

Great EDC knife.

After looking at a bunch of reviews I finally pulled the trigger on this one. I like scandi grinds and wanted a folder with one. The Cold Steel Finn Wolf was the first I picked up and while it's a fine knife for the money I noticed the well documented issues with edge rolling. Nothing that isn't easily worked out but annoying to me none the less. The Enzo Birk 75 was the only other read more scandi folder I could easily find but at a big jump in price. The difference is noticeable. With the D2 steel blade roll hasn't been an issue and it's crazy sharp edge has remained so with only light stopping. The handle feel great in hand and the antique ivory micarta looks great too. Lock up was about 50% out of the box and has stabilized at 60%. Fit & Finish reminds me of a Taiwan made Spyderco. I'll probably will end up getting a S30V scandi version in the future just because. I don't use it for building shelters or hardcore bushcraft but for EDC tasks like opening packages, food prep, and whittling and it has handled everything with no issues. If you are on the fence try one. I think you'll like it.

Nice knife.

Best folding knife I own

Tim gaulden

Not necessarily my favorite, as I still love my Spydercos for daily use, but by far this is the sharpest and the toughest folding knife I own. It eats into wood like a rabid beaver!!!! This is definitely going to be the folder for hiking and camping. I also like how low in carries in my pocket.

Excellent Knife!

I have had this knife for a few months now and really like it. Basically I was looking for a quality easy open knife with a deep pocket clip for tip up carry but I wanted something a little nicer looking and not so tactical. This knife fit the bill for me. Extremely sharp right out of the box and the fit and finish was excellent. The blade opens smooth and very fast and locks up read more tight. I also really like the natural curly birch scales. Great size for EDC which is what I purchased it for.

I'll also add that DLT has great prices and fast shipping. This was not my first purchase from them and won't be my last. Thanks for a great knife, price and service.
