Where do I start? Blade profile is one of my favorites in my collection. Blade was sharp right of the box but I ran the edge through my fine stones. Love the handle profile but wasn’t sure how I was going to like polymer grip on one side and steel on the other. I actually like it after carrying it for about a month. Frame lock was a little stiff at first but is butter now. If read more this knife had a short deep carry clip like the Benchmade Bugout 535 I’d say this knife would be perfect to me. Great job ESEE/BRK.

I bought this about 4 months ago and have had it in my pocket the entire time, its a great knife for the money your paying, especially with the d2 blade. I got this as a good alternative to the rat model 2 because the rat model 2 wasn't in d2 steel at the time. Although the handle isn't the that good looking it is pretty nice in hand(my hands anyways) and for me the only reason read more it gets 4 stars instead of five is cause the lock bar is quite stiff and hard to get my thumb in there to disengage the lock but I've gotten used to it and the pocket clip isn't really usable in tip up configuration as it sits right on the frame lock so I keep it tip down

Great knife!

I love it. Excellent build quality, amazingly solid lock up, great ergonomics, and D2 steel. Very sharp out of box, too. All for less than $50. In fact, one thing I immediately noticed about the build is how the ambidextrous thumb studs are slightly different in length. To compensate for the fact that the steel framelock side is slightly thinner than the green plastic side. That's read more just smart. Also, there is steel under the plastic.

I am worried about the D2 rusting...But not really. I live in New Mexico.

The only thing I wish it had was a flipper. But even being a lefty, I have no problems opening it one-handed. That and more scale options. But that's nit-picking, really.
