With this knife a new world standard is being set! Technical design, Ergonomics, and economy are brought together within the MODel A1, representing the leading concept available today. The knife meets and exceeds established international standards for strength, personal security and value. MODel A1 is a semi-large all-purpose knife for heavy duty use. The powerful blade is made of extremely hard yet tough laminated VG10 steel and will withstand the stress of hard use. The knife is superb to chop with, but also works very well with daily taSKS, thanks to the Ergonomic grip. The full tang goes entirely through the handle, so you can strike the end of it without breaking the grip. The sturdy black zytel sheath allows you to fasten the knife on your belt or your pack - even upside down. MODel A1 is a water repelling concept which works just as well in extreme cold as in stifling heat.

Looks great
I just received my A1. It was delivered very quickly, is sharp out of the box and I am excited to try it out. Like some other reviewers, DLT Trading swapped out a left hand sheath for me upon request. I am very happy with their level of customer service.
Very strong knife, spent 2
Very strong knife, spent 2 hours beating the knife through rounds with a 5ft. 2x4 and was still shaving sharp after. Also very impressed with shipping from this place. Ordered the knife to be engraved and was still shipped 2 hours after placing the order.
It doesn't get any better
It doesn't get any better for a survival knife than the Fallkniven A1 Army Survival knife. This knife has incredible capabilities from chopping down trees to shaving thin slivers of wood for a firestarter or anything else that would need a very sharp knife. I have never seen a knife that can do all the things well that this knife can do..

You can buy a knife anywhere on the internet; however, the level of customer service I had from DLT was outstanding. I am left-handed and in my order I was only asking about availability of left handed sheath. To my surprise the knife came with left handed sheath. Thank you again for excellent service.
