This Suru MODel is built with a green aluminum handle and a black stonewashed Bohler N690 blade. The Fox Knives Suru, awarded Knife of the Year at Blade Show 2018, is a pocket-friendly EDC fLipper design by Danish knifemaker Jesper Voxnaes. This variation sports an aluminum frame lock handle with hole cutouts on either side that reduce carry weight and add a touch of style. The Suru is equipped with a bellied blade for easy slicing and tackling everyday cutting taSKS. Add an award winner to your everyday carry rotation! Vox Suru = Perfection
My wife got into knives the last year and this has been one of our grail knives and for a great reason. This fox is super light, beautiful, and carries well on her small frame. This was one of the best purchases and one of our prized knives for her growing collection-
Fox Vox Suru Frame Lock Flipper Knife Green
This is a great little workhorse. The frame cutouts reduce the overall weight. The blade is perfect for everyday use in the office or warehouse. This has a nice slim design and because of it’s light weight, it’s hardly noticeable in your pocket.
Great Blade!
The SURU has a fantastic blade shape and grind. The design is extremely functional for any task. The flipping action is smooth and snappy. Good feel in hand ... however ... the wire clip positioning creates a hot spot. Not a huge problem, just noticeable.
I really like it, with some minor gripes
I love the size and form factor of this knife, and really enjoy Jesper Voxnaes' designs. This has a finger choil that is ergonomically placed, and I've found myself choking up into that finger choil more times than not. My biggest gripe is that out of the box, the flipper is extremely stiff, and its difficult to correct. Additionally the wire pocket clip is nice and low profile… read more (without being deep carry), but is a little bit "flimsy" in feeling. Altogether I've carried this knife frequently since my purchase, and think it makes a very good edc overall.
Good, but
Strong, sturdy and light little guy but some of the carbon fiber layers seemed to have flaked off in the areas where the holes were made in the handle. The edge was also unevenly ground. But over all sharp as I like it. Flipper is a bit stiff but not a deal breaker. The textured handle provides great grip in the hands but a bit too much grip at the clip for my liking.
Carbon Suru
Really cool packaging! Lock bar needs a little meat on it to get a better grip for unlocking. Other than that great lil knife! My only gripe, someone opened the packaging and left fingerprints all over the satin blade. If y'all gonna play with it before shipping, at least have the courtesy to wipe it down before shipping for God's sake!! Bad fourm BHQ.
Beautiful knife
This is a truely beautiful knife that aesthetically catches one’s eye. The ergonomics and feel of the knife is really impressive, it fits in the hand perfectly.
