About GiantMouse ACE Biblio

GiantMouse | ACE Biblio The ACE Biblio builds on a well known design from GiantMouse's line of Knives, namely the GM1. Since its debut in 2018, the Biblio has been extremely well received by knife enthusiasts worldwide, and has been produced in a number of different handle materials. The Biblio is an all around EDC folder that looks good and performs even better, no matter if you are out in the woods or in the city. A knife for both ?Dives and Dance Halls? so to speak. The flat titanium scales on this MODel provide for a slimmer profile, allowing the knife to ride almost unnoticed in your pocket. When using the Biblio you?ll realize how well it performs. Again, the Ergonomics are spot on, and the nicely thin ground blade makes this a real slicer. By choosing the flat saber grind on this knife, we got a strong blade with a fine cutting edge that you?ll enjoy using. The use of B”hler M390 for blade steel makes the Biblio an exceptional cutting tool that will serve you well for yeARS to come.

Great action size ergos. The stock pocket clip is super shallow carry but giant mouse makes a deep-carry clip for it.

With a little work this thing rules over it's weight class

I have been ordering knives off of this site for years but, this is top on my list. Stays sharp forever and buttery smooth. Y’all should put it in a Blade HQ video!! Best EDC knife I own.

Well pleased all around!

Did my research and determined that this would be a fit for me to own & use. Got the natural micarta with the notion of dying the scales to my liking so after ensuring there were no quality issues with the knife, the first thing I did was carefully disassemble it. Very pleased by the construction. The micarta took the dye nicely and the color I used will lighten nicely over time read more (not my first rodeo). Reassembly was a breeze though centering was off on my initial tightening of the components. Adjusting for that was easy and it hasn’t moved in the 2-3 weeks of carry & use since.
The knife slices well and it fits nicely in my large/extra large hands. Not as big as I usually carry (~ 3-1/2 to 4”) but it works so well for me I can’t seem to set it aside for a day. It was my first GiantMouse and I was impressed enough to have pursued a ‘Grand’ on the secondary market as well as having just ordered their newest ‘Riv’ model.
The Biblio to me is an excellent value and a very capable knife for its size.

Like the micarta handle, steel is great. The knife feels great in hand as well. All in all, it's great knife for the money.

One of my Go To's

This is a great EDC knife. The blade shape and ergos are spot on. I love the Natural Micarta. My only complaint is the detent is a little stiff. I'm hoping with repeated use it will loosen up a little.

This is a beautiful knife. It's smooth, sleek, and just looks great. The lockup is crisp and strong. The Reate action is very nice. Youtube reviews said that the back-spacer might create a hotspot. I think that depends on the person. I can feel the angle of the spacer in my hand when I unlock and fold, but it's not something that creates a problem. While this is a beautiful knife read more I get the feeling that I could really use it if I needed to. It sits well in the hand. The blade came very sharp as expected. GiantMouse has made another great knife.

Amazing Design

I love this knife. The micarta is beautiful and patinas well. The blade shape is incredible and the steel just won't dull. I can't wait to buy another Giant Mouse design.

Easily one of my favorites

I was really excited about this knife but with my Iona the performance has been very so-so. If you want a smooth functioning shutty type of flipper do not buy this knife. It does not snap open or fall shut and it probably never will. When I loosen the pivot the usual happens and the blade gets loose or goes out of center. Maybe over time it will get better but thus far it is not read more improving. Also I am not happy with the reaction from Giant Mouse when I emailed them about the problem. Unlike TRM they seem to not care. Buy a TRM knife instead, they have excellent knives and service.

Looks Feels & Handles SHARP!!!

Steel is amazing, edge is fantastic. knife is super slicey! I like the grips overall.
Dislikes:
It's smaller than I expected. I read somewhere that an owner couldn't wait for what the micarta handles would look like after aging for a few years/decade. So far, mine had picked up the dye of my blue jeans on one side. I don't care for that.
Summary, I love the steel read more and function of the blade, but I found it to be too small (both in blade length and size for my hand) for any real use. The handles, while awesome looking, absorbed the dye from my jeans.

Can't get it out of my pocket!

This has pushed it's way into my edc, and I can barely bring myself to carry anything else!
