Great looking but...
first, i must say that blade HQ has been great to order from, and work with when there is a problem. they always do more than what you would expect. great company.

more familiar with switchblades vs otf). third, a spring broke after 2 wks of deploying it upto a dozen times a day, it was never used besides that. sent it to guardian at my cost (adds to cost of an almost new knife, they said i would be reimbursed but haven't seen that $ yet). finally, i have the knife again, it works again, but i don't feel confident that it is reliable due to how much the blade moves in all 6 directions when in lockout position, and the spring breaking.

Just received the Guardian Tactical RECON-ELITE OTF Auto Knife Tanto (4.0 Two Tone Black Serr) Beautiful blade with smooth action. Disappointed with the rickety lockup on a $450 blade.

Last week I bought the 040. (Read my review). I liked it so much. I wanted to buy another. Well this one is it. The best all around OTF for me. Your mileage may vary. Hope this helps. Jef C.
AWSOME!
Love this knife , this is my first Guardian Tactical and it wont be my last. Most of my Other OTF,s are Microtechs, this Recon Elite is my new favorite. The action is flawless!
