Awesome knife.
Blade is sharp out of the box. Lockup is great. Action is buttery smooth. While a bit on the small side, this is a phenomenal knife that I heartily recommend.
Wow!
My bugout is nice but the Deka blows it away. So much more substantial ... better grip, better steel, better action .... just better. Love this knife in every way. Selling my bugout - the Hogue Deka is my new EDC!
Bugout for real men.
This is an initial impressions review, I may update later after prolonged usage.
Build quality is typical Hogue, which is to say top notch. Weight is slightly more than a Bugout and blade thickness is slightly (0.01) greater.
The handle is inflexible, unlike Benchmade's pretty little moneymaker.
I am very well satisfied.
