This large Honey Badger knife has a "Wharncleaver" MODified cleaver blade and a blue FRN handle.The Honey Badger knife has taken the knife world by a storm, and for all the right reasons. Its FRN handle scales are strong and lightweight. The blade has a thick stock and a broad profile with a full flat grind for strength and ease of slicing. It opens smoothly using the thumb hole or the fLipper, and vanishes into the pocket with the deep carry pocket clip with recessed screws. Nice Cleaver
This is my third Honey Badger and my first D2 steel with them. First, the flipping action is where they excel. Well balanced, perfectly centered, great handle scale grips and very sharp. The reason I can not give this nice knife a 5 star review is the pocket clip. It's poorly designed, cheap, flimsy and creates a hot spot. Great inexpensive knife
Silky-smooth deployment, but also great blade retention. The scales are perfect and the entire knife seems "de-horned" = there are no sharp edges (except for the blade LOL). Only detraction is that the liner lock seems pretty thin. Other than that the lockup is solid and the blade was shavin-sharp. Gonna pick up another in D2.
