This Honmono sword features a weight-reducing blood groove that runs the length of the blade. That extra durable 8mm thick blade will feel more like a lightweight Katana and the sharp Kisaki and Yokote will slice through bamboo mats like butter.The handle is made of sturdy hardwood and wrapped in genuine Rayskin, plus black Ito wrap. Dual bamboo pegs secure the full tang to the handle.
