Very nice Knife for a very nice price
The Shard is a very handsome blade! The green Ti handles really make the copper inlay pop. The color isn't quite as bright as the photos show, a little less teal. The finish is an even matte bead blast witch gives a great feeling in the hand, even if it collets grimy fingerprints pretty easily. The copper is similarly matte and patinas quickly, I wish it had more texture for contrast.… read more Blade is sharp from the factory, could be a little thinner behind the edge, fine for EDC. It could use more detent as even with the heavy blade and bearings it isn't foolproof deployment. Blade lockup is like a vise, no play whatsoever, 25-30% lock surface engagement. The pivot is not captive and requires two drivers to adjust. Unnecessary hole in the blade has no purpose other than looks and collecting shmutz. Good for classy EDC, only so-so for casual food prep.
