About Kershaw 7500 Launch 4
The blade of this Kershaw Launch for sale is made out of high-performance CPM154 steel. This powdered metallurgy steel has more uniform distribution of carbides—so it takes and holds an excellent edge, provides good corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and toughness. The blade is DLC coated for an additional measure of blade protection and non-reflective good looks. Then to lighten the Kershaw Launch 4’s weight, we made the handle and integrated backspacer of durable aluminum, anodized in black.

Look at blade near pivot
It's a tiny knife with a huge cutout section of the blade near the pivot. It's a weak/fragile point for sure. I own other automatic knives that don't have a cutout like this so I was surprised to see it. I bought it for cutting tape on boxes I get in the mail, to open things wrapped with plastic wrap and open envelopes so I don't expect to apply any real pressure to the blade. Awesome blade, snappy and solid lockup
This thing is flipping sweet (pun graciously accepted) snappy and solid lockup. Great choice for smaller size or if you want a Cali legal auto.
Only gripe is lack of deep carry pocket clip, but there are aftermarket options available.

Great knife. Very well made and the opening action is very quick and consistent. Blade is very sharp. Perfect for a daily carry dress pants, work pants or jeans. Love my Kershaws!
