Decent, nothing special

Looks good, construction feels sturdy, but that is about all the good this knife has to offer. It came sharp out of the box, but quickly lost its edge when opening boxes. The tip is very thin and looks like it would break easily. I like it for mundane tasks, but do not EDC it because there is no deep carry pocket clip.
I like it, but am not impressed at the blade steel.

TLDR: read more Save your money and don't get something with 8cr1mov.

Kershaw knocked this one out of the park for a modern styling EDC small pocket knife. It's the perfect size for EDC and disappears in pocket. Once I loosened the set screw just a bit and added some blue lube to the pivot it now opens lightning quick. The only reason I give it four stars is for ergonomics, if you don't(or at least I) hold it just so it will not flip open until you read more do and that's really the only complaint I have with it. In all honesty, if they were to make a larger version of this knife I would buy that one too. Love this knife

Decibel is a great little EDC. Action is fine, got mine to flick open no problem. Light. Blade is a good size and price is right....$40 or so. Blade steel may not be great but once I tune it up with my Sharpmaker it's good to go. I love the look. Ergonomics are fine.

Upgrade, please.

I dig this knife a lot, but it really needs to be made in D2 or 12c28n. Preferably uncoated. It could still be under $50, and be a much better value.
At the $40 price range, it's just not worth it because of the poor blade steel.
Nothing in 8cr13mov should cost more than $25, IMO.

On the positive side, it's stylish, has decent ergos (even though it doesn't look like read more it would) and is perfectly functional as an EDC.

Ironically, if it sells well, Kershaw might consider upgrading it. But it won't sell well because of the blade steel quality vs. price ratio.
