Keep fingers off lock bar when opening
I have had a few Kershaws, and others that have been hard to open, and I noticed I was accidently squeezing the lock bar when trying to open, making it nearly impossible to flip open. Once I realized this and kept my finger back, and off the lock bar, they flipped reliably and much easier.
Just a great knife
Besides being made in China there isn't anything to complain about with this. Smooth action, along with its awesome design makes for a great EDC.
Disappointed
Really wanted to like the End Game. It looks so cool with the mixed media on the handle, cut-outs, unique handle shape, and blade shape. Unfortunately that is where the cool ends. The End Game is too difficult to open and close. If fact it can be painful. The detent is too strong to flip open easily and the frame lock is very stiff and way too difficult to unlock. The jimping on… read more the flipper tab is too aggressive and the bearings are just not smooth. I thought this knife may break-in and get better with time and use, but unfortunately it has only gotten worse and is painful to use. I really wanted to like this Kershaw model, but unfortunately I can not recommend it. Really is too bad, because aesthetically this is one of the coolest knives I have seen lately.
