Amazingly smooth

I got this knife as a lightweight EDC, and it really lives up to its description. It's so light sometimes I don't even know it's there. The frame could be a bit more solid, but the blade is great and it locks solid. Also this knife is EFFORTLESS to flip open, it opens smoother than butter and faster than you would believe with minimal application of pressure.

I've now owned this little knife for 2+ years and it's been a great knife that punches well above it's price point! Just buy it!

Great action for a non-assisted knife

Like all the Kershaw knives I own , I love this knife . The flipper action on this is incredible . The frame on this is only steel on one side ( lock side ) so I consider this to be a "light duty" knife even though it seems quite rugged . Very thin and light weight combined with quick , smooth , easy flipper action make this a "keeper" . The only flaw is a trivial one and easily read more fixed . The handle edges are a bit sharp and need to be lightly sanded with some fine sandpaper .
Overall , this is a great little flipper knife and am glad I bought one .

Horrible Knife

I own a few Kershaws - love some and can leave some. This knife is one I would run away from. Ended up with two of these ... on both the flipper is almost impossible to flip open. Loosening the pivot doesn't help. The handles feel cheap and there are hot spots all around because the edges are too sharp. Ended up taking the clips off to use on other knives ... both my Anso Fraxions read more ended up in tackle boxes ... hate this knife.

Great knife, awesome action

This is one of my favorite knives. The action is like a push-button - press gently on the flipper (you kind of have to get the hang of it) and this knife flies open with some authority. Very lightweight - some may say it feels cheap, but to me it's perfect, and the carbon fiber inlay just makes it better. My favorite knife to fidget with.

Great budget knife

My experience with this knife has been really good. I was surprised by the negative reviews. Mine had good action, solid lock up and disengagement, and good QC. Maybe I got lucky. I actually liked mine so much that I have bought several and given them to friends over the past few months. Everyone that I have given away, is still being carried by my acquaintances.

To me, read more this is a great, little, easy to care for, inexpensive flipper knife. I do not rule out that others maybe received "lemon" knives.

Really like this inexpensive knife

I really like pocket knives in general. I have expensive and cheap knives. I picked up one of these fraxion knives, and liked it so much that I have bought two more since that time. I keep giving them away to friends. I guess I am a bit of a pocket knife evangelist. I am enthusiastic about them, and when I find an inexpensive knife that has a solid build and good action, I tend read more to buy multiples of them and give them to acquaintances. This little Kershaw is SOLID. It is practical, doesn't take up a lot of room, has good action, is light weight, feels good in the hand, and locks up easy, and has an easy to sharpen low-maintenance steel. People love them.

Detent is so stiff that if you open repeatedly you will kill your finger, and this is after carrying for 2+ weeks. right out of the box it was even worse. Blade shape is nice, but the knife over all feels super cheap and not very desirable. doesn't sit well in hand, to many jagged corners and feels like it will break f you use it for anything other than opening an envelope. There read more are many many better options in this price range. After getting this i am kind of sad i spent the money as it has been a complete disappointment
