Smol, snappy, and sleak

Kershaw Atmos. The first thing you will notice about the Atmos is how light it is. The feel is similar to a Natrix with less grip due to the small frame, the flat profile, and the slick carbon fiber inlays. When you open it, it flies open. Tiny/Lightweight blade matched with a stout retention means this thing opens fully every single time, and it is probably my favorite feature read more of the knife. The blade also is drop close, which is a surprising feature given the pricepoint. The blade itself comes sharp and has a fair finish, showing some marks. The pocket clip is a deep carry done right, and I have never had any issues with it. The handle, although small, feels pretty good in the hands, and jimping is well done, though the G10 scales show quite a bit of wear and tear. Due to the slim size, the Atmos disappears in the pocket and is relatively unassuming when you whip it out. I appreciated the overall look of the Kershaw Atmos, with its slim profile being very indicative of Mr. Sinkevich. If I had to point out the drawbacks of this knife, I would say, both the blade and G10 showing their use and the jimping on the spur being really sharp. Regardless, I have already recommended this knife to a coworker and suspect we will be twinning soon. 86/100

Great Budget EDC Knife

Clean design, easy to deploy, easy to sharpen and easy to replace if lost or damaged. Cannot beat it for the price. Have been carrying the black version and the blue version for over two years and they have never failed. The blue model is especially nice because certain people at the office who might be afraid of knives don't view the blue model as threatening when I bring it out read more to open a box or envelope.

Light and stylish

I love this knife. It is light and discreet but the blue gives it real style. The blade is sharp and perfect size for EDC.

Great Quality and Great Price

I was looking for a EDC light knife to carry for my daily cutting tasks. I was tires of lugging a heavy multi blade knife. This is the perfect weight with a good blade and a great price.

Wonderful for the Price!

Great budget designer knife! Very difficult to beat the price!
I got this knife originally thinking that it would be kind of cheap. It does not have a lot of reinforcement liners other than the one side with the lock. But what hooked me was the design, it is absolutely beautiful with the Carbon Fiber overlay on the G10. The action is unassisted but feels like it is assisted because read more it flies open and is very smooth. I like the deep carry clip as well, when you put this in your pocket it just disappears due to its slim, lightweight profile and the clip.
This knife does have some negatives though. The blade steel is a pretty budget steel, only being 8Cr13Mov stainless makes it easy to sharpen and decently corrosion resistant but it is not going to hold an edge after extended cutting. The flipper handle is a bit sharp on mine (don't know if it is the same for everyone). I actually cut my finger on it because my finger wasn't quite on it properly and it didn't fire, my finger slipped, and put a gash in my finger (just something to watch out for).
Personally I use it as my "church knife." It may look a little more modern, or casual, than a normal gentleman's knife, but the size and weight are right around where I want a church knife to be.
Overall I really enjoy this knife, the sleek profile and small size makes it great for everyday minimal use cutting/carrying. This is not a knife you would want to take out for bush craft or construction work.

Small and light!

Knife is great! Not hard use, but for everyday tasks it is a great, easy to carry, comfortable to handle knife. Bearings make it fun to flip!
Lost a star because my example's edge is ground unevenly. Still sharp (let a friend use it and he cut himself...first blood!) and I can fix it with a reprofile.

Only suggestion I can add is...Kershaw, do an XL version! If you do, read more I'll order one right now! And yes, i know the ZT 0470 is a bigger Atmos, but I don't want that. I want a bigger version of this knife! If I find a good deal on a 470 ill pick it up (like i did with my 0566cf and 0770cf!) but until then...affordable Atmos XL!
