Wicked Sharp
Bigger than I thought it would be. Vault like lock up, smooth deployment. Rides comfortably in pocket. And this S35 is some wicked sharp.
My Favorite Folder
As others have stated, this has become my favorite EDC. I have also owned spyderco, benchmade, SOG, kershaw, boker, and CRKT folders. This is my favorite yet. The deployment is super smooth. The lockup is solid. The blade is massive, for a 3.5" length, it presents like a 4+ inch blade. This knife is beefy, and is heavy, but I love it. It isn't bothersome to carry and feels bombproof.… read more My only minor criticisms are that the blade steel shows smudges and the thumb studs are cut at an angle, I feel they could use some texturing for traction. I fully recommend this knife, it is awesome. It feels like a custom knife.
Knife Collector Buys Another!
I am a knife collector (ZT's, Spydercos, Emersons, Medford, etc..) and this is my favorite knife. I ended up purchasing two Kizer Kane knives and now am purchasing my second John Gray GPB1. I can''t believe these have not sold out yet, such an unbelievable deal and killer unique folder, that has everyone falling in love with it once seen / held / or flipped. Get one while available,… read more u will be way stoked!!!!
Affordable Thuck
It's a John Gray THUCK at one fifth the price. I have a "real" THUCK and this version is scary close to that. If you can get the scratch together I'd say go for it. It's a EDC THUCK! Been in my pocket since it arrived, love it! Now I don't have to beat up my original so much, ha ha ha!
Overbuilt mastery
This thing is built like a tank but still smooth as silk deployment. No faults at all. Great knife!
