The "Funnest" knife I own
This is my first knife purchase from Blade HQ, I was totally hooked when Zac on the channel was showing it off in a pocket dump. I've been carrying this one in my EDC rotation for about 5 months now. I find myself coming back to this one the most when I can't decide which one of my knives to take out. Whenever someone sees me whip this thing out it's an automatic "Woh, cool knife".… read more Everything about it screams fun. It's color palette is fun, it's smooth opening action is fun to fidget with, the handle design is fun, and the sheepsfoot blade is fun. If you get where I'm going I'm trying to say it's fun. I agree with another review on this knife, it's very non-aggressive looking, which is great. It's simply a fun knife for those who are or may not be into the #knifelife.
Great smaller EDC
After watching the BHQ video with the dude from MKM, I had to get this knife. The blue and orange combo really drew me in, but I also wanted something smaller and reliable to carry at work. Pulling out something like a PM2 really freaks people out in a hospital setting!
The blade comes razor sharp, and the curved sheepsfoot design makes slicing easy. The handle isn't as grippy…

as advertised, though. It feels fairly smooth, but I don't think it would slip out of my hand while in use. It's not like you can really do any significant chopping with it, and it has some nice jimping on the top of the blade. The pocket clip isn't too tight, and the knife slips into the pocket with ease. The ball bearing makes deployment quick and smooth, and as mentioned in a review below, it can be spidey flicked.
Overall, I really like this knife, especially for the price. If you need a smaller EDC knife or a lightweight backup, this is an excellent choice.
Jesper goes the Pilar one better!
The relationship to the Pilar is obvious, but the details are telling. The FRN scales make it a bit under 60% of the Pilar's weight, which alone makes it a replacement for EDC carry. The action is slick, the blade is sharp, and it looks great! I've relegated the Pilar to my workbox; it's still a great knife, but the Isonzo is a niftier package. I consider it worth the money.
Excellent EDC
I have carried this little knife every day since it came in. I have VERY large hands. My wedding band is a size 13 and the rings I wear on my middle and index fingers are size 15, for reference. It sits nicely in my hand and fits three fingers for a very secure grip. The forward gimping is perfect for getting in there on precise cutting tasks. Blade comes razor sharp and keeps its… read more edge very well. It is small enough no one freaks out when you pull it out to use it and that sheepsfoot blade with a full flat grind makes it the perfect slicer.
Great Knife
Excellent quality, as high as any other brand I have owned. The detent ball is ceramic which is also nifty. Highly recommend for a small EDC.
Another Great Voxnaes Design
If you like the Pilar, you're going to love this knife. It's almost identical in size but feels much more nimble in-hand. The blade comes razor sharp and slices very well. I've only been carrying the Isonzo for about a week but I can't say there's anything I dislike. It's also fun to spidey flick even though it's probably not meant to be opened that way.
