An amazing bargain
The blade came well centered and extremely sharp. The blade shape itself is a good all purpose design with a full flat grind. The pivot runs on brass and teflon washers. I replaced those with some phosphor bronze washers I had on hand (around $1 for the pair) and along with a cleaning/lube that improved the already good flipping action of this knife. After a week of playing with… read more it, it flicks open silky smooth. Overall this is a huge bargain and any of the Parrots would make excellent Christmas gifts for non-knife-snob friends. They're inexpensive (the G10 version even cheaper), come in several colors, are immanently useful and probably unexpected.

I also got a D2 blade with this knife. It is the finest knife that I have ever owned. Thanks Blade HQ

Proud Parrot
D2 specs listed here correctly match blade steel on knife received. Mid-size Parrot is budget fair & very user practical. Thoroughly love semi-translucent natural jade G-10. Also picked up a 2nd parrot in blue G-10. D2 blade steel also given on blue parrot as well. Blue parrot knife is currently priced a few bills cheaper. Excellent manual folder EDC choice in all G-10 plus Micarta… read more options offered. Sure wish I had been more aware & caught notice of this QSP series much sooner.. ..happy to have product along w/ dedicated service from fine folks in VA.
Best knife for $20
The description is slightly off, you actually get a D2 blade with this knife (not sure if by accident but both the knives I bought had it) which is typically seen as an upgrade over 440C. I originally bought them to gift but I'm keeping one myself. These are fantastic! Only gripe is that I like a deep carry pocket clip (nothing wrong with the one that comes on it)... which I don't…

mind because this will fit the $5 replacement civivi pocket clips off Amazon.
I'm going to pick up a few more at this price.
Great Knife for the Money!
I don't have a lot bad to say about it. My only complaint is the handle is a little blocky.
It's a D2 steel knife for $20. Can't complain about that. It is Chinese made, but doesn't feel that way. The action is smooth and the liner lock holds tight. The G-10 scales are grippy and feel good. The blade is solid and easy to sharpen. I can't recommend this knife enough for an EDC.…

From someone who used to buy a lot of cheap knives, buy this one!
It's a great knife
I love this knife. It's been in my pocket a lot since it has become shorts weather. It's light and disappears in your pocket. It came out of the box sharp and with action. I highly recommend, especially for the price.
