Sheath is just awful

Alexander L.

Don't get me wrong, this is a very nice EDC fixed blade knife. Just too bad the sheath is so terrible. The actual design of the sheath is fine, but the quality of the leather feels cheap and has an off-putting chemical smell to it. Worst of all the dye (black) is staining the grey micarta handles and it totally covers my hands when I hold the knife! Unacceptable. Retention is also read more weak, but being a vertical sheath it's not that big a deal. I recall the old sheath had the option for vertical and scout carry, which I'd personally prefer. I'd love to carry and use this knife, but not with this sheath. What a shame

Great EDC fixed blade.

This is a great size for EDC carry. Excellent belly, nice flat grind, very comfortable handle and great steel. Although, not a deal breaker for me, it doesn’t have a sharp spine if that is a preference for you. I’d definitely buy it again.
